OFSTED & SIAMS

Proud to be an Ofsted rated 'Good' School

Ofsted is the Office for Standards in Education, Children’s Services and Skills. They report directly to Parliament and are independent and impartial. Ofsted inspect and regulate services which care for children and young people, and those providing education and skills for learners of all ages.

Himbleton C of E First School and Nursery is a “friendly village school” (Ofsted 2020) and we are proud to be have been rated a ‘Good‘ school in January 2020.

As a Church of England school, we are also subject to SIAMS inspections. A SIAMS inspection focuses on the effect and impact that the Christian ethos of the church school has on the children and young people who attend it. Our Christian identity is very important to us here at Himbleton.
