NATURE
OUR FACILITIES
On-Site
We have well-resourced and well-maintained classrooms for all Key Stages. All classrooms have an interactive whiteboard, iPads and access to either laptops or Chromebooks.
We have a library stocked with high-quality reading materials, both fiction and non-fiction which all children are encouraged to utilise.
An additional indoor space is provided by our large conservatory room, which is used for group teaching and meetings, as well as for eating at lunch time!
As well as our extensive and varied Forest School site, we have a large school field which provides an excellent space for implementation of our PE curriculum. We also have an on-site adventure playground and climbing wall for our children to use.
Our playground is carefully designed to promote peer-peer interactions. As well as this, our barn space provides a quiet area for those who may seek this at break times. In addition, we have a separate reflection garden.
Our nature area contains a pond and other natural habitats and is used to enhance our Science curriculum across the school.
Off-Site
Just a short walk away, we are fortunate to have a well-equipped village hall that each class uses every week for their indoor PE session.
All classes at Himbleton attend swimming lessons throughout the year at the nearby Perdiswell pool on a rotation basis, as we believe this is a vital life skill that needs to be developed.
Worcester and Droitwich are just minutes away and we ensure that we access facilities available in these locations to enhance our curriculum offer, such as libraries and museums.
