NURTURE

Headteacher’s Welcome

Welcome to Himbleton Church of England Primary School and Nursery, just a few minutes away from both Worcester and Droitwich.

Welcome to Himbleton CE Primary School and Nursery – a truly special place where every child is valued, nurtured, challenged and celebrated.

We believe that every child should have the opportunity to fulfil their potential and achieve to the best possible standards, giving them a strong foundation for the future. Therefore we provide a unique, exciting curriculum, which is carefully designed to foster a love of learning and effectively prepare children for life in an ever-changing world. We aim to inspire, challenge and motivate our children to want to make a difference and have the confidence to do so.

Our fantastic rural location provides such wonderful opportunities for learning outside the classroom. For us, this is incredibly important, as it enables our children to develop vital learning skills such as resilience, resourcefulness, responsibility and risk-taking, as well as encouraging team work and collaboration.

Our motto ‘Nurture, Nature, Knowledge’ is very much alive and our Christian values underpin all that we do. Here at Himbleton we really are one big family, where the approach is supportive and respectful. We are incredibly proud of the way everyone cares for one another.

At Himbleton CE Primary School and Nursery the safeguarding of the children in our care is our absolute priority; we take our responsibilities very seriously – we are committed to the safety and well-being of all our children. Mrs Martin is the Designated Safeguarding Lead and the Deputy Safeguarding Lead is Mrs Hedges. The Safeguarding Governor is Claire Johnston.

If you would like to find out more about our school, please do come along and see for yourself – we would be very happy to welcome you and show you around.
